DAY 1: Arusha
You’ve been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long and the day when it begins has finally arrived.
You’ll spend some time in Arusha, where there’s always something happening. The endlessly busy streets are a fascinating performance in their own right, but the city also has clamorous markets, excellent museums and a fun food scene. Best of all, it’s a window on local life that you just can’t get out in the safari parks.
Accommodation Day 1| Gran Melia Arusha
A convenient Arusha city center location is just the start at Gran Melia Arusha. Some of the rooms have fabulous views of shapely Mount Meru off in the distance, while the rooms themselves are excellent.
There’s an onsite restaurant, and the spa and wellness center is perfect for relaxing after a long day on the road.
DAY 2 & Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro is a special place and the first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered
black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with largerthan-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos wallow,
and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the
rest of the world.
Accommodation Day 2-3 | Ngorongoro Lodge Meliá Collection
Everyone who stays at Ngorongoro Lodge Meliá Collection loves the experience and we’re sure you will too. For a start, the crater views from the lodge are something special; most rooms take advantage of the incredible view with big windows and the terrace has one of the best crater views anywhere. Other amenities include a restaurant, bar, spa, massage center and gift shop
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
You won’t find many better national parks in Africa than the Serengeti, which has few rivals when it comes to both the numbers and variety of animals. Track down the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy the vast horizons that are perfect for spotting predators (especially lions, leopards, cheetahs and spotted
hyenas) and their prey (buffaloes, impalas and kongoni), as well as elephants and giraffes. If you’re really lucky you’ll see a hunt, one of the most exhilarating sights anywhere in the wild. And at every
turn, revel in its beauty, with flat-topped acacia trees silhouetted against the setting sun, and so many other classic African safari images.
Temperatures are lovely and cool in Ngorongoro Highlands, which is perfect for exploring the forests, and seeing the wildlife (elephant, buffalo and maybe even leopard) and views.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
There’s always more to discover in the Serengeti, and you’ll get more chances to do so on your return to the park.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park
There’s no such thing as too many days in the Serengeti – today you’ll get to enjoy it all over again.
Not many travelers get to know the Northern Serengeti where you can explore rolling hills, grasslands, woodlands and the . You won’t see many other vehicles as you look for big cats and elephants

DAY 8-9: Zanzibar Island
When you arrive on Zanzibar Island, you’ll know immediately that it is a place like no other. Tourists from all over the world come here to chill out on some of Africa’s most beautiful beaches and explore the
surrounding coral reefs and islets. Another facet of the island is its characterful old Stone Town, whose handsome architecture recalls a time when Zanzibar was a wealthy center of Indian Ocean trade and a major producer of cloves and other fine spices.
Accommodation Day 7-9 | Melia Zanzibar Resort
Facing the rising sun along Zanzibar’s northeastern coastline, Melia Zanzibar is a fine resort. You’ll sleep in bright modern rooms which have a hint of traditional Zanzibari style.
