Our Island of choice boasts 250+ spacious, custom-built and eco-friendly luxury bell tents, lodges and bungalow suites, nestled around lush vegetation. Embrace the refreshing sea air and stunning views of the Adriatic in your sea-view accommodation, or enjoy the peace and tranquility of the pine forest.

Accommodation is spread in 4 distinct areas or the Island, the East, West and South Camp and the Sun Lodge Suite zone. Our spacious and stylish accommodation come equipped with air-conditioning, super comfy beds, and fresh linen and towels. The interiors and décor have been carefully designed to ensure that each guest has everything they need to enjoy their stay. 

LUXURY BELL TENTS

Self-contained with locks our Luxury Bell Tents are individually plotted on a wooden terrace base for extra stability and comfort and are available for 2 or 4 people. All tents are lockable, wind and weatherproof and include air-conditioning. You can expect comfortable beds with proper mattresses with linen and towels. The tents have a high quality standard and also offer lighting and electricity and usb sockets, clothes rack and night lamp.

FOREST LODGES

Our lockable and fully furnished Forest Lodges are available for 2 or 4 people and come equipped with quality linen and towels. Each lodge has en suite facilities, lighting, air conditioning, power sockets, hair dryer, safe deposit box, minibar, wardrobe and mirror, USB ports, and an outside terrace for chilling out.

SUN LODGE SUITES

Much more than just a bungalow or mobile home, our Sun Lodge Suites are glamping at its finest. Each lockable suite is equipped with super comfy beds, fresh linen and towels. They all have en suite facilities, lighting, air conditioning, power sockets, hair dryer, safe deposit box, minibar, wardrobe and mirror, USB ports, and an outside terrace for chilling out

PRIVATE BOAT ANCHORING

We also offer limited anchoring space for guests who prefer to arrive on their private boat. Anchoring space will be available at the Main Port and include Brunch, Dinner and all parties on the island. Anchoring is at the sole responsibility of the client and completely weather dependent and Spicy Island cannot guarantee safe harbouring. For further information please contact us privately.

PAYMENT TERMS

You can secure this fantastic holiday with a deposit of 20% and the rest paid on 4 easy to pay instalments as follows:

If the instalments are not paid within 15 days of the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation according to the published cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel your reservation, please use the cancellation form which you find on the "My Booking" page within the event.

The cancellation will be processed according to the published cancellation policy and the conditions listed below, according to the notice period given in relation to the start date of the event.

No Shows will not receive any refund and any accommodation booked will no longer be available the day after the scheduled arrival date.

THE BEACHES The island boasts endless opportunities for swimming in crystal clear waters and for sun worshipping on beaches at the East Harbour,  West Harbour, South Beach and the North Harbour. Water temperature on this side of the Adriatic should be in the region of 25.5°C  - a perfect haven to soak up the sun and tan those white bits.

THE SWIMMING POOL The Island houses a private Swimming Pool which is situated at the heart of the island and will be the main spot for most parties throughout the week.  The Kitchen Restaurant is also situated right next to this Swimming Pool.

 

WATERSPORTS

The warm, calm and clear waters of our island makes it the perfect spot to try out some new water sports.

Explore the surrounding crystal blue seas by paddleboard (SUP) or kayak. Or grab a snorkel and discover the island's diverse underwater habitat.

 

WELLNESS

Spicy Island is a true Paradise. Relax your mind and your body at one of our sunrise or sunset yoga sessions, surrounded by nothing but the sound of waves and crickets. Alternatively, you can spoil yourself with a partial or full body massage to the sounds of the sea breeze. If there is a heaven..... this must be it !

 

STARGAZING

An uninhabited island means that light pollution is at its minimum. Catch the true magic of the island and discover the enormity of the Universe - look through our star telescope to explore the vastness of space and spot your favourite stars.

Spicy Island is located about 5 km off the Croatian mainland near the town of Šibenik. It is easily accessible from Split and Zadar International Airports.

ARRIVING ON SPICY ISLAND

Shuttle Boats will leave the port of Šibenik every hour on arrival day, and vice versa on departure day, ferrying you to and from our Island. Private Speedboat Transfers are also available and must be booked in advance. Please select your preferred method of arrival and departure when making your reservation.

ARRIVING TO ŠIBENIK BY LAND If you plan to arrive by car, train or bus, the shuttles to Spicy Island leave from the Port of Šibenik. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the water on the island suitable for drinking?Yes. Tap water on the island is safe to drink. However, every drop matters so please use it efficiently.

Is there WIFI on the island?

Yes, there are various WIFI Hotspots on the island

Would I be able to go to the mainland during our stay?

Yes, taxi boats will be available to ferry people from the island to the mainland, and return, every day. You will need to book your taxi service at Reception. 

Is there an ATM on the island?

Yes, there is an ATM on the island. The commission rate is subject to your bank's policy.

Is there medical services on the island?

Medical care on the island is organised through a private medical centre that is equipped for urgent and other acute health conditions that may occur. Medical services are available 24/7.

Is there a grocery store on the island?

No. But there are vending machines equipped with all the essentials you might need if you were stranded on a deserted island: basic toiletries, hygiene products, COVID safety kit (face masks, gloves, hand disinfectant) sunscreen, after sun body care, mosquito repellent, snacks, drinks and many many more...

Can we have additional cleaning and towel changes?
Yes, of course you can. You can request additional cleaning or more linen changes at reception for an additional cost.

What is the electricity voltage in Croatia?

In Croatia, the standard voltage is 230 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. You can use your electric appliances in Croatia if the standard voltage in your country is between 220 - 240 V (as is in the UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa). You might also consider a combined power plug adapter/voltage converter. For Croatia, there are two associated plug types, types C and F. Plug type C is the plug that has two round pins and plug type F is the plug that has two round pins with two earth clips on the side.

YOUR ACCOMMODATION

The stylish accommodation of your choice will be waiting for you on arrival day. Be it a Luxury Bell Tent, a Forest Lodge or a Sun Lodge Suite, you will check in to find crisp linen embracing the fresh sea air. Cleaning and towel changes are included on the third day of your stay.

BUFFET BRUNCH

Breakfast is included with your stay and starts from 08:30 and is extended to a brunch until 12:00. Whether you're an early riser and want an early breakfast, or prefer an early lunch, we've got you covered! A huge selection of freshly baked breads, buns, pastries, a spread of dairy and non dairy products, meats, domestic and international cheeses, cereals, dried fruits and seeds, hard boiled, scrambled, sunny side up eggs and omelettes. Also, a selection of Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Halal, Kosher products, clearly labelled.  Various choices of teas, coffees, coffee specialities, fresh fruit and vegetable juices, etc etc etc.

BUFFET DINNER

A fully fledged Buffet style Dinner is also included with your booking and is served between 19:00 & 21:30 daily. Dishes will include selections on the likes of delicious homemade soups, Cuttlefish Risottos, Vegan Salads, Pork Loins, Fillet Mignon, Grilled Tofu,  various types of salads, potatoes, vegetables, dressings, sauces, condiments, quality olive oils,, cakes, deserts and freshly cut fruits. The menu will be changed daily, and specific dietary and eating habits, such as Kosher, Halal, Vegan, etc will all be managed and clearly labeled.

The island boasts a selection of stylish bars and restaurants to ensure unforgettable dining experiences all around. From sunrise until well after sunset, there is no shortage of options for exquisite food and amazing cocktails.

THE KITCHEN

With a poolside lounge area, sunset views and table service, this is the restaurant where both the included Buffet Brunch, and Buffet Dinner are served. In addition to a fantastic range of meat, fish, salads, fresh pasta and sweet treats, there are daily specials that make the most of the fresh produce available on our doorstep. The venue has a fully resourced, professional kitchen and both indoor and outdoor seating.

THE PAVILION

The Pavilion Pizza bar is located in the centre of the island for when you fancy a quick snack, a delicious pizza or a tasty bite.

THE BOK

Fine dining beneath the pine trees with amazing views out onto the Adriatic Sea. BOK serves seasonal and regional tapas along with à-la-carte menus for brunch and dinner.

DRIFT BAR

Drift bar is the welcoming lounge of the island, and the first thing your will see upon arrival – a relaxed seafront bar situated in the East Harbour, Drift delivers your first coffee in the morning, soft drinks, an array of cocktails, craft beers and wines for your full relaxation
